Victims of motorcycle accidents commonly suffer serious, if not catastrophic injuries. Recent motorcycle accidents in Pennsylvania where the motorcyclist suffered injuries include one that sent the biker involved to the hospital. Police are investigating a recent collision in North Coventry that involved a motorcycle and a car.

The accident occurred in early July, late in the afternoon. According to the authorities, a 28-year-old man who was operating a car attempted to make a turn. However, his car was in the direct path of a motorcycle which was approaching from the opposite direction. The motorcycle, operated by a 23-year-old man, collided with the car.

According to eyewitness accounts, the collision caused the motorcyclist to be thrown from his vehicle. He suffered serious injuries in the crash and was rushed to a local trauma center by helicopter. The driver of the car was reportedly uninjured. Police are currently continuing their investigation of the accident.

Motorists in Pennsylvania who are injured in motorcycle accidents with another vehicle may decide to pursue a civil claim against another party when the evidence suggests that the negligence of the other party caused the crash. A successfully navigated claim can result in monetary restitution that can be used to help the victim to pay for medical bills, lost pay and other financial losses so that he or she can return to a normal life as soon as possible. Consulting a personal injury attorney who is experienced with handling motorcycle accidents is often an important step in order to assess the viability of a claim and to seek assistance in pursuing it through the civil court system.
