Andrea Kusselson joined Gay & Chacker as an associate upon passing the bar in 2019. She previously worked as a law clerk for the firm and a clerk and intern for two other prominent Philadelphia firms.
Andrea earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Temple University in 2014. During her undergraduate work, she was a member of Alpha Epsilon Phi, where was the fundraising chair of the sorority. Andrea also served as secretary of Temple’s Political Science Society. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law in 2019. In law school, Andrea was a Marshall Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project Fellow. She also taught George Washington High School students about constitutional law and trained students for a nationwide public speaking competition on constitutional law cases; one mentored student continued onto nationals in Washington, D.C. The Thomas R. Kline School of Law awarded Andrea the Dean’s Scholar in Torts for achieving the highest grade in torts class; after receiving this honor, she went on to become a teaching assistant in torts. During law school, she was a negotiation finalist of the American Bar Association Alternative Dispute Resolution Team.
