Negligence could lead to Pennsylvania medical malpractice claims

Losing a loved one and believing that other parties are responsible for the death can be a complicated situation. When it comes to medical malpractice, Pennsylvania residents may be particularly concerned about seeking compensation. Luckily, individuals have legal options that could allow them to pursue their desired restitution and seek justice against the parties considered responsible.

It was recently reported that such a case is currently taking place in another state. Reports indicated that a man had collapsed while running, and as a result, he was taken to the hospital. However, he was later discharged without being admitted, and a serious condition was not treated. The man was apparently suffering from severe aortic stenosis, and as a result, he died a few months later at the age of 44.

The man’s family filed a lawsuit as they believe that the hospital was negligent in their treatment of the man. They are seeking compensation for loss of care and support as well as funeral and burial expenses resulting from the death. They hope that their case goes to a jury trial in order to seek judgement on the damages.

Cases like this one can be difficult for families to face. They may feel the hurt associated with the death of their loved ones and also feel the need to ensure that those responsible are brought to justice. If Pennsylvania residents have been the victims of medical malpractice, they may wish to gain more knowledge on their legal options. Speaking with experienced attorneys would be a wise place to start for reliable information.
