Recent Pennsylvania car accidents: Couple dies in crash

A car accident took the life of a couple in Bucks County recently. The fatal crash occurred on a recent Tuesday evening earlier this month. When car accidents occur that result in Pennsylvania residents’ deaths, their loved ones are sometimes entitled to file wrongful death claims.

The accident, which was a head-on collision, occurred in Solebury. A 67-year-old man and his 66-year-old wife were killed in the crash, which occurred on Route 202 around 7:15 p.m. According to the authorities, it occurred when an SUV that was headed south on the road suddenly swerved and traveled across two lanes of traffic.

The SUV collided with a northbound station wagon head-on, killing the couple. They were pronounced dead by officials of the Bucks County Coroner’s Office upon arriving at the scene of the accident. Police are currently unsure as to why the driver of the SUV left his lane of travel. He was rushed to a local medical center, but his condition is currently unknown. An investigation is likely ongoing.

When Pennsylvania residents die in car accidents due to another party’s negligence, their remaining loved ones may be entitled to file a wrongful death claim. If successfully navigated, this kind of claim may result in an award of financial compensation that functions as restitution for end-of-life expenses and other documented financial losses. These individuals typically consult an experienced personal injury attorney in order to help them to assess their unique situation, identify responsible parties and represent their interests in any litigation, when necessary.
