Car accidents: Pennsylvania girl killed in collision
A vehicle collision can claim the lives of individuals of any age. As a result, car accidents can often lead to families losing young children due to the actions of other individuals. These situations are harrowing, and the surviving family may wish to seek justice for their loss or losses and other damages stemming from such a tragedy.
One family in Pennsylvania may be considering its legal options after a recent fatal accident. Reports stated that a vehicle was traveling west when it was hit by another vehicle that was traveling south. The southbound vehicle was traveling at an excessive speed when the collision took place. There was a 3-year-old girl, a 43-year-old woman and another woman in the westbound vehicle. The child was ejected from the car.
The young girl was taken to an area hospital, but she unfortunately succumbed to the injuries she suffered and was pronounced dead. The two other women in the vehicle were also injured. The driver of the second vehicle did not remain on the scene, and authorities suspect that individual may have been racing at the time of the crash.
Car accidents that lead to the deaths of young children are never easy to accept. The family of this Pennsylvania girl is undoubtedly facing much grief and may hope to gain restitution from the driver considered at fault for the crash. Filing a wrongful death claim could allow the family to seek justice and compensation for permitted damages, and additional information on this option may be useful to them.
