Car accidents: Single-car crash leads to death in Pennsylvania

Fatal crashes play a substantial role in the number of deaths every year. In many cases, innocent individuals lose their lives due to the actions of other drivers. When fatal car accidents take place, the surviving family may wish to consider their legal options in hopes of gaining compensation for the damages resulting from such a devastating incident.

One family in Pennsylvania may be considering their options after a recent crash. Reports stated that only one vehicle was involved in the incident, and there were three individuals inside the vehicle at the time. The driver was reported as being a 25-year-old man, and he lost control of the vehicle as it was traveling east. The vehicle left the roadway after rotating, hit a tree and then went back into the road, coming to a stop on its roof.

The incident resulted in one passenger suffering fatal injuries and being declared deceased at the accident site. A second passenger and the driver were both reported as having suffered moderate injuries and were taken from the scene. Authorities suspect that alcohol may have been a factor in the crash, but their investigation was still ongoing at the time of the report.

The family of the man killed in this crash may wish to determine whether filing a civil claim could be right for them. Wrongful death claims often stem from fatal car accidents, and this case may be no different. Information on taking such action in Pennsylvania may help the grieving family pursue compensation for their loss and other permitted damages.
