Pennsylvania car accidents: Dozens injured after SUV, bus crash

Though mass transportation can be a valuable asset to any individual’s commute, there is a chance that buses and other vehicles could be involved in a crash. When car accidents do involve public transport, it is possible for numerous individuals to become injured. If those injuries are serious, multiple legal claims could potentially result from a single incident.

A recent crash in Pennsylvania could have such outcomes due to involving an SUV, a bus and a tractor trailer. Reports stated that the SUV exited a driveway and collided with the bus after pulling onto the street. The impact caused the bus to then hit a tractor trailer that was stopped at an intersection. It was also noted that two pedestrians were also somehow involved.

It was unclear how many individuals total were occupying each vehicle, but reports did state that 26 bus passengers were injured as were the two pedestrians. Details were not given on the types of injuries those parties suffered, but all of the victims were expected to survive. Authorities were continuing to investigate the accident at the time of the report.

Due to the numerous individuals injured in this crash, many of those parties may wish to gain more information on their possible legal options. Serious injuries could lead to financial strain for which the affected parties would like to seek compensation. Therefore, the individuals injured in this crash — and parties similarly affected by other car accidents — may wish to determine whether filing personal injury claims in Pennsylvania could be in their best interests.
