Truck accidents: Pennsylvania man killed in crash

When trucks enter roadways, it is important that their drivers pay attention to any oncoming traffic and ensure that they have the right of away. If trucks pull into the paths of other drivers, truck accidents could easily occur. These crashes may potentially result in devastating injuries to any of the individuals involved, and legal action could result.

One family in Pennsylvania may be looking into wrongful death claims after a recent accident. Reports stated that a tow truck driver was entering a roadway from a business. During the turn on to the road, the truck entered the southbound lane and into the path of another vehicle. As a result, the car crashed into the side of the truck.

The driver of the car was reported as being a 85-year-old man. He suffered fatal injuries in the accident and died at the crash site. It was not reported whether the 62-year-old male driver of the tow truck was injured. Authorities will likely continue to investigate the incident and determine whether any criminal charges may be warranted.

Fatal truck accidents can significantly impact the lives of the surviving loved ones. The family members of the man killed in this Pennsylvania crash may find themselves attempting to contend with emotional and financial struggles with which they were not adequately prepared. As a result, they may wish to consider filing a wrongful death claim against the driver considered at fault and the company for which he worked in order pursue compensation for allowable damages.
